Besides the touching and thrilling story, the movie also features brilliant visual effects, thanks to the talented director and advanced computer technology。

At that time， we had the so-called planned economy. There was no competition at all. So neither farmers nor workers worked hard. China was on the edge of collapse. Competition can stimulate people to try their best to do anything. For example， in 100-meter race， each sportsman runs as quickly as possible， trying to win the champion. The same things happen in our society and in our daily life. If a company wants to surpass others， it must compete with them. It must raise its efficiency.
All the companies doing this will no doubt benefit the whole society and the whole human race. Being a student， I must compete with other students in our studies. I must study hard in all the fields so that I can be a useful man when I enter the society after graduation.

Once my American teacher, Dr. Joe Johnson, went ont shopping. He was surprlsed to find out that he couldn‘t even count on his fingers proficiently in China. He tried to buy six oranges. The orange seller couldn‘t understand his two handed counting when he showed him five left hand fingers and one right hand finger. He was also confused when a driver said he would pick him up at six o‘clock, and held his right band in a gesture familiar to himself. The gesture was not familiar as a six. It resembled a pipe.
There were no trouble with the numbers one, four, and five. In China, we show the middle and index fingers to mean two, but, for the Americans, it means victory. The Chinese guesture for three, to Americans. means "okay." The Chinese seven is like many people from southern Europe aad the Middle East gesture to mean "money". A Chinese eight is like a symbol for a pistol. A Chinese nine in an American TV studio means that you have thirty seconds left to finish what you are doing. And a Chinese ten, to an American, can be an expression of anger, but not if there is a pleasant Chinese face behind it!

One the one hand, people living a fast pacelife are easier to get success. The people who are got used to in a hurry allthe time will have more time to do the things that they want. And most of the mare active. They have more opportunity to enjoy the happiness of success.However, they also lose something when they are hurry to pursue success. They forget to stop to enjoy life itself or treasure the beautiful scenery in theirlife. As a result, those people always have lots of success, but lack of love.
一方面，生活在快節(jié)奏的人更容易取得成功。那些習(xí)慣了總是匆匆忙忙的人會有更多的時間做他們想做的事。而且他們大部分都是很積極的。他們有更多的'機會享受到成功的喜悅。然而，在他們急于追求成功的同時，他們也失去了一些東西。他們忘了停下來享受生活本身或珍惜他們生命中美麗的風(fēng)景。結(jié)果，那一類人總是獲得很多的成功，卻缺乏愛。
On the other hand, people who living a slow pace always can enjoy their life and be happy. The slow coaches always are more tolerant to themselves and others. They would have less stress for themselves,which may bring better mental and physical health. If they don’t push themselves to finish task, they will have more time to enjoy the beautiful scenery around their life and taste life. But, this kind of people will have less chance to be successful, because they don’t put their mind on it.
另一方面，那些生活節(jié)奏緩慢的人們總是可以享受生活并且很快樂。性子慢總是對自己和別人都比較寬容。他們會給自己更少的壓力，這可能會會讓他們的身心都更健康。如果他們不強迫自己完成的任務(wù)，他們將有更多的時間去欣賞周圍美麗的景色、品味人生。但是，這種類型的人成功的機會比較小，因為他們不把心思放在那上面。
To sum up, the pace of life just is people’schoice. It is their life concept. There is nothing good or bad. But as for me,I may prefer a slower pace of life. It is just personal hobby.
總之，生活的節(jié)奏是人們自己的選擇。是他們的生活理念。沒有什么好與不好的。對我來說，我比較喜歡慢節(jié)奏的生活。這純粹個人愛好。
